The Grand Chalet at Thunder Cove sleeps 7 in a majestic historic building 200 meters from the white sandy beach of the gulf of Saint Lawrence. Its 12 inch hardwood beams rise 30 feet to support the all-cedar A Frame roof.
The cottage sits on a full acre of grassy land overlooking MacKay Pond, and the main floor's open living-dining-kitchen area provides views of the pond through the patio door to the wrap-around deck. A full bath and a twin bedroom with its own patio door complete this floor.
Upstairs is a master bedroom with balcony and queen size bed, a second bedroom with double bed, single bed, and a picture window, and a half bath.
The huge deck, on three sides of the cottage, includes an enclosed outdoor shower.
